Call for Applications: European Solidarity Residency 2026
The European Solidarity Residency (ESR) announces an open call for a fully funded 30-day residency taking place in October. This program aims to foster solidarity, collective imagination, and professional development for emerging curators and cultural professionals.
Residency Breakdown
The residency will host ten (10) selected residents across three partner institutions:
6 residents at Lidice Art Collection – Lidice Memorial (Czechia)
2 residents at Pro Progressione (Hungary)
2 residents at Art radionica Lazareti (Croatia)
Application Requirements
Applicants are required to submit the following:
Completed Application Form.
Curriculum Vitae (CV/Resume): Highlighting relevant experience.
Personal Statement (Max. 500 words): Outlining interest in the residency and describing how the program will benefit the applicant's professional practice.
Optional: A portfolio of past projects.
Accessibility

📍 ESR 2026 will take place in three locations – Budapest, Dubrovnik & Lidice – from Monday, 14 September to Tuesday, 13 October 2026.
