ONLINE: ESR Open House I. — How to Apply (Technical Session)


Join us for the "ESR Open House I. — How to Apply (Technical Session)", an online session part of the European Solidarity Residency (ESR).

ESR is a fully funded 30-day residency in Budapest, Dubrovnik, and Lidice. It's primarily geared toward emerging curators and cultural professionals from Creative Europe countries, with strong inclusion for those from underprivileged backgrounds.

The event will be led by the Project coordinator, Miloslav Vorlíček – Head of Residencies at Lidice Memorial, and it will give prospective applicants a clear, step-by-step walkthrough of the application process for the fully funded 30-day residencies in Budapest, Dubrovnik, and Lidice. It's primarily geared toward emerging curators and cultural professionals from Creative Europe countries, with strong inclusion for those from underprivileged backgrounds.

💧 Eligibility & what we look for (10 min)
Who can apply (emerging curators/CPs in Creative Europe countries, strong encouragement for applicants from underprivileged backgrounds; inclusive of applicants with children and persons with disabilities).
💧 Application form walkthrough (25 min)
How to become an ESR Commons member (free): complete the online form, submit your CV + personal statement (max 500 words), and an optional portfolio. Audio/video submissions are also accepted as an equivalent to the written form.
💧 Timeline & selection (10 min)
Key dates: Open Call closes Fri 12 September at 13:00 CEST; shortlisting and interviews follow; final decisions announced 27 September.
